Igneous Drama, 03/10, Oil on linen 16 x 20 inches
A painting I recently finished. Done on Mt Woodson next to a large vernal pond. I found the drama of the way the rock and tree shapes interacted particularly captivating – I hope I did the scene justice.
I like this one. I am especially drawn to the “firey” tree in front of the huge rock and the shadows.
