San Diego Farmer's Market Building
San Diego Farmer’s Market Building Oil on Linen 30″ x 42″ 11/01/07 – 3/29/09

I think I’ve finally decided this painting is done. I hope to do more in a similar vein in this location.

Love the shadows- very pleasant thoughts from this painting.

I’ve returned to this area and have just started a few paintings from this part of San Diego (Barrio Logan) I’m thinking of making a large one eventually of the Chicano Park under the Coronado Bridge. The light in the late afternoon is quite magical here, especially on the Farmer’s Market building. Go there sometime right before sunset when the last of the evening sun hits that building – spectacular!
