A painting I recently finished. Done on Mt Woodson next to a large vernal pond. I found the drama of the way the rock and tree shapes interacted particularly captivating – I hope I did the scene justice.

A one sitting study of clouds quickly moving over the Water Tank on Mt. Woodson as seen from the pond. One of my favorite cloud paintings thus far. I was very excited about this little painting.
